What's it like to have SMP done at Hair Scalp Center? Here's what our client Bastian has to say.

I’ve had hair loss for several years, like it started about 10 years ago and I met a friend in Bangkok here who was telling me that he had a tattoo.

Obviously you see how I’ve also got a lot of tattoos on me, so like what did you get done?

And he kind of looked completely different in a way and I didn't know what it was and then he was like:

“- You're looking at it. - What?”

So I started looking closely at it and then I remember I was like:

“Did you get something done on your hair?”

And he was telling me about how he got his SMP done here at Hair Scalp Center and

it just looked so real that I was totally blown away by it.

Before I was constantly wearing hats, all the time I barely went out without something on my head and since I was in Bangkok myself, I just wanted to check it out and I saw some of the results on the website and I was just blown away and I wanted to get it done.

How did SMP change your life?

Everything has just changed so much. Even when it just starts, when getting up in the morning, and I look into the mirror and

getting much more confident

and obviously that confidence also kind of radiates like in a way how people interact with you.

You feel much more positive about yourself

and also of course not having to wear a hat all the time, especially when you are travelling in warm areas like in Bangkok, just sweating all the time.

Many friends of mine have asked like: “Something is different, what have you done?”

And when I told them about it, they were in disbelief because they could not tell any difference in regards of it not being natural so actually, since they were used to me wearing hats all the time, once I started not wearing it anymore, some people asked me:

“Why were you wearing hats all the time? I mean you still have hair right like and why did you choose to cut it? I wonder what you look like when you just let it grow.”

People really assume that it's real hair.

So I'm really really grateful for that and

I'm more than happy that I got it done.

Did you consider hair transplant over SMP?

Yes, I've definitively also looked into like real hair transplantation but I was really worried about doing that because the way that that works is like they cut a big piece of your skin on the back of your head out so it's reimplanted in front of the head.

So it's like a surgical procedure and you always maintain this like very ugly looking scar on the back of your head and you would always have to wear long hair in order to hide that.

And also what goes wrong with it is that your scalp would have like some sort of shock so after it is stripped and reimplanted the first time, it would fall off, fall out again before it starts regrowing so for like half a year, your head will look anything but good.

And besides I really enjoy wearing this haircut like I'm very comfortable with wearing it short and it would be pointless to have like a hair transplantation if you cut off your hair afterwards again.

And then obviously, being able to see that scar, so that was basically just the perfect fit for me, the perfect solution that before I just didn't know about until I met my friend who was here at Hair Scalp Center and recommended it to me.

What does the SMP treatment consist of?

So the whole treatment consists of 3 sessions and I got all done within 1 month because that was the time that I was in Bangkok last year and my treatment was done 8 months ago.

The staff here at Hair Scalp Center was incredibly professional.

At first, they asked me if I wanted to have like some numbing cream so it wouldn't hurt but to be honest,

it didn't hurt at all.

Because they said that if I'd used a numbing cream, it would make the skin turn pale a little bit and the results are normally better if they can see better on the skin so they recommended to not use the numbing cream if that's ok and I didn't really need it, it didn't hurt at all, it was more like a gentle pinching that wasn't bad at all.

I would definitely recommend to just do it the way that they recommend it.

Does SMP stay well?

Normally I work remotely and I travel a lot in like warm areas and I've been out in the sun a lot and it didn't even fade at all so it looks really really fresh.

Would you recommend an SMP treatment at Hair Scalp Center?

I would absolutely recommend it to anybody who feels insecure about their hair loss because like to me,

it has been so life-changing

and in regards of self-esteem, and in regards of how really people perceive the SMP to be real hair.

I've already recommended it to several people who have already come here to Hair Scalp Center and

they were also blown away by it.

My friend Freddie he's here at the moment and he's so pumped up at his 2nd session and just to see how well people perceive it and how comfortable and excited they feel about the first results even before they are completely done, it's just mind-blowing.
